Cracovia started the 2025/2026 season with a strong start, but during the winter break, a major shake-up occurred in the club. The departure of president Mateusz Dróżdż, who had been leading the team's development, was a significant blow. The spring round was already unsuccessful for the Pas, and the consequence was the dismissal of Lukas Elsner, who was replaced by Bartosz Grzelak. Ultimately, Cracovia maintained its position in Ekstraklasa, but was not certain until the last round. Today, the atmosphere around Cracovia is not optimistic. Fans are worried about the team's quality in case of departures of key players - Oskar Wójcik or Ajden Hasici. Meanwhile, vice-president Murat Colak claims that the Krakow club should fight for top spots in the next season. He will be satisfied only with the advancement to European cups. – Such a club as Cracovia should fight for European cups every year. TOP 5 is definitely the place where we should be. Nevertheless, the most important thing for us is to stabilize Cracovia's position in the league. Our goal should always be the fight for the top five and development on the international scene. There will certainly be many changes. Our department for football affairs will be very active in the near future. Along with coach Grzelak, we will decide on many matters. For now, I will not reveal any details – says Colak in an interview with Weszło.com.
