Cracovia is going through a difficult period following Elżbieta Filipiak's resignation as club president. Filipiak, who took over the position after Mateusz Dróżdż, explained her reasons for leaving in a statement to Przegląd Sportowy Onet. She believes that selling Cracovia to Robert Płatek was a mistake that negatively impacted the club's financial stability. Filipiak noted that she had no influence over key decisions, which contributed to her resignation. She pointed out growing disagreements in management that made it difficult to realize her vision for the club's development. She also critically assessed the preparations for Cracovia's 120th anniversary, highlighting a lack of concrete plans. Filipiak emphasized that her decision was driven by a lack of autonomy in key areas of club management.
