Cracovia has a new vice-president in the person of Prof. Murat Çolak. The vice-president explained the circumstances of his entry into the club's management and the directions of action for which he is responsible. This is the first media statement on the model of functioning of Cracovia in the structures of Platek Football Group. From January 7, 2026, KS Cracovia has a new Board of Directors. The President of the Club is Mrs. Elżbieta Filipiak, and the new Board of Directors also includes David Amdurer associated with Robert Platke, as well as Professor AGH and Director AGH Business Scholl Murat Çolak, who took on the roles of Vice-Presidents. Prof. Murat Çolak is a Turk and, together with the players, is on a training camp in Belek. There, he also gave his first media statement on his role in Cracovia. One of the main reasons for my appointment as vice-president was the project we started about a year and a half ago, especially in cooperation with KS Cracovia. As a professor and head of a business school at one of the best technical universities in Bologna, we developed a project that designated Krakow as a pilot city. In its framework, we planned cooperation with many teams from Turkey, Europe, and other countries. The vice-president Çolak points out that his presence in Cracovia does not result from a one-time personal decision, but from a previously planned international project in which Krakow played the role of a pilot city. This project from the beginning assumed cooperation with clubs outside Poland, including Turkey. It was this starting adventure that brought us closer together, and later, with the change of management, I took on the position of vice-president and the role of responsible for planned cooperation, especially those of a strategic nature. I really love it. In essence, I perform two jobs that I really enjoy. The vice-president clarifies the scope of his responsibilities - he is primarily responsible for strategic cooperation and development projects, and his function in the club is a direct result of previous cooperation. He then refers to his academic work, emphasizing that both areas - academic and sports - he treats in a similar way. For me, it's not really work. Being a professor is something I do with passion and all my heart. Leading my students and people who appreciate me, passing on new knowledge - it never tires me. I don't see it as work either. Analogous approach Çolak declares towards football and club activities. The same applies to football. On the football pitch, before matches, during the organization of events, at meetings - everything gives me great pleasure, and being here gives me great joy. In the further part of the statement, a key thread of changes in Cracovia appears. Therefore, because I derive satisfaction from both of these areas, I do not feel tired. Especially from the third quarter of 2025, KS Cracovia introduced a new approach to management. A new partnership was formed with an American, Mr. Platke, and Mrs. Elżbieta Filipiak. This is a clear confirmation that from the second half of 2025, the club operates in a new ownership and management model, based on cooperation with Platek Football Group. We have adopted a more global approach. Platek Football Group is a group investing in various areas, especially in football.
