Cracovia is struggling with serious problems. The club's deal with Comarch will end in June, and the management does not have a new sponsor yet. Elżbieta Filipiak, the club's president, revealed that there is no other strategic sponsor. The recent changes in the management were due to the need to adapt to the new owner of the club, Robert Platek. Cracovia said goodbye to an important player, Mikkkel Maigaard, who left for Wieczysta. The club is trying to cover this loss by acquiring new players. Luka Elsner, the coach of Cracovia, was supposed to get two new players before the trip to the training camp in Turkey. But that did not happen. The dismissal of president Mateusz Dróżdż corrected these ambitious plans. Cracovia has already lost one of its leading midfielders. Maigaard was tempted by Wieczysta last summer, but then he refused and started negotiations to extend his contract with Cracovia. In January, it became clear that Cracovia would not be able to outbid Wojciech Kwietnia's offer, and after the change in management, permission was given for his transfer. The transfer fee of 300 thousand euros is not excessive only because in June this leading Ekstraklasa midfielder could have left for free. Cracovia is looking for new solutions. The new management, which consists of Elżbieta Filipiak, David Amdurer, and prof. Murat Colak, has made several unconventional moves in its first three weeks. A meeting with the team, which took place on the day before departure to Belka, was organized at the Royal Castle. So Cracovia has hope for a better tomorrow. Colak gave a statement to the local Anadolu Agency, announcing the establishment of cooperation with Turkish clubs as part of the Platek Football Group. Cracovia is ready to fight for its place in the Ekstraklasa.
